Mia was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California.
She transforms gemstones and precious metals into sculptural forms that exemplify style. She cites ancient and earthy design influences, yet her creations are infused with modern undertones. Intricate twists of fine-gauge wire in gold or silver, unique chains, hand wrought word charms, and talismans from many cultures are signature elements of her jewelry.
